  15. I have installed UUCP on two SPARCstations at work. I have connected
  16. the machines via direct cable. I have verified the physical link by 
  17. using kermit. I get the login: prompt without any problem.

  19. When I invoke uucico [manually] to test the operation, I get the 
  20. error message "UUCP error - REMOTE HAS A LCK FILE FOR ME".
  21.  
  22. Can someone point me in the reight direction as to what to check
  23. [permissions on various directories/files ?]. I would appreciate
  24. if you can reply me directly via e-mail since I do not have regular
  25. access to comp.uucp.mail.
