  12.     I'm wondering if anyone has written a script or a C program
  13. that would work with smail3.1.26 (haven't upgraded yet) that would
  14. allow me to put restrictions on email, both incoming and out going.

  16.     For example...instead of elm running smail directly, it would
  17. run this script which would determine whether or not the email
  18. exceeded a certain size, or was going to a certain destination (ie.
  19. mailserver) and if so, it would garbage it, with a message sent back
  20. to the sender.  Otherwise, it would let it go on its merry way.  The
  21. same thing would go for rmail.  If an email came in from a mailserver
  22. or that exceeded a certain size, then again, it would junk it, sending
  23. off messages to either the receiver/sender or both.

  25.     It would have to work primarily on an ISC SVR3.2 v2.2.0 Unix
  26. machine.  MDA software wouldn't really matter, either smail packages
  27. would be acceptable.
