- When saving a message to a folder, are the actual messages in
- the file sorted, or is it just that elm sorts it on screen? Example:
-
- I get a message from Mr 'x' on the 12th. I save the message
- in 'x'.
- I get another from 'x' on the 13th. I DON'T save the message.
- I get mail from 'x' on the 14th, and save it to 'x'.
- Then, I save the mail from the 13th to 'x'.
-
- Will the actual file be sorted as: 12th, 13th, 14th? I don't
- think so, but I wasn't sure, really... I actually think that it is:
- 12th, 14th, 13th (in the order I saved them) and that elm sorts it
- only on screen.
-
- I ask this, because sometimes I download my mail to save it
- elsewhere, and I would like them to be in order. The only way I was
- ever sure to do that was to copy all the files to another folder and
- then back in order.
-
- Thanks!
-
- I am also still looking for answers about the Sent mail
- problem. If anyone has any mentions about it, please mail me!
