- I've never heard of either of these. Can you briefly describe them
- for us? What do they do and what environment (DOS, Unix, etc.) are
- they intended for?

- I use pencil and paper, whiteboards, modelling clay (for input devices),
- and the Builder Accessory from ICS for prototyping UIs in X/Motif.
- BX is pretty quick and flexible, as long as you don't try anything
- out of the ordinary. That is, you can prototype up lots of vanilla
- Motif widgets, but forget trying to show snappy pictorial dynamics
- or anything. For that I go straight to Xt/Xlib. Sigh.

- Official Usability Thought Police Disclaimer (I want to keep my
- license): Of course, no tool works real well in the absence of actual
- user data. You can make hideous UIs with even the best tools -- only
- you make them faster. :-/
-
- What other tools do people use, especially for X UIs?
