  14. congratulations to your excellent package, that I like very much to use for 
  15. quick visual analysis of data.

  17. I installed Gnuplot, version 3.2 on a VAXstation 3100 running VMS 5.4 and 
  18. DECwindows. Everything works fine except support of the terminal types "x11" and 
  19. "X11". To my opinion the reason is, that the VMS C-library contains no function 
  20. "select.h" at all. So even when I set the "CRIPPLED_SELECT" flag gnuplot cannot 
  21. open an additional window for displaying graphics on an X-Terminal. Is there a 
  22. way to get around this limitation? (For what purpose is the "select.h" function 
  23. necessary?)
