- Last time I checked (probably Alias 3.1, I doubt it has changed since
- then), Alias computed stereo views incorrectly, by rotating around the
- object instead of keeping the camera axes for the two images parallel,
- or by "toeing in" the cameras while moving them horizontally.

- You can confirm this observation by increasing the disparity of the
- views (increasing the distance or baseline between the cameras) and
- looking at the images. The results in extreme are "undistorted" left
- and right side views of the object; the correct image would appear
- significantly stretched horizontally.

- Correct stereo pair rendering requires some SDL hacking, changing
- camera location and the pixel limits of the output views.
