  13. I have put the following key bindings in my .emacs file.

  15.   (global-set-key "\e[228z"  ' search-forward) ; f5

  17.   (global-set-key "\e[229z"  ' search-backward) ;f6

  20. However, if I want to search for the same string again, pressing
  21. F5 doesn't produce whatever string was searched before in the mini-
  22. buffer.

  24. My question is how do I make my fuction key search repetitively search
  25. for the search the same string?
