- I am running gemacs on an IBM RS6000 in the AIX environment. I have set up
- quite a few key bindings to emulate my word processor at home. When I use
- gemacs WITHOUT my .emacs file, I can position the cursor with the mouse in
- any window, and set marks for copy/paste, etc. However, when I start up
- using my .emacs file with all the key definitions, the mouse no longer works.
- I just hear an obnoxious beep every time I press a mouse button.
-
- I have tried redefining the mouse bindings, but I receive an error message when
- gemacs starts up, that says there is an error in the .emacs file.
-
- Is there some obvious reason that the mouse bindings are "coming undone"?
