  14. I have a question from one of our clients about communicating between
  15. a TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf?) and a Mac with a
  16. standard modem.

  18. My impression was this would be difficult in both hardware and software
  19. because they use an old (5 bit?, 6 bit?) code rather thann ASCII.
  20. But I can't find a reference handy.
