  12. I'm asking this on behalf of a friend of mine:

  14. From various bug reports he received for his (modem related) application
  15. he deduced that ACEEX V.32bis modems seem to behave strangely at the
  16. time of connect: first the "CONNECT ..." result string is sent, then
  17. there's a _pause_ of approximately _half_a_second_ before DCD is raised.

  19. Since he only concluded this from bug reports and the source code
  20. (sorry, I don't have any details) could a ACEEX 144 owner confirm this?
