- I need to know what CrossTalk does when a user on a PC presses
- the break key. I'm under the impression that CrossTalk installs it's
- own interrupt vector for the break key to do something special.
- Here's a little background.
-
- I'm developing an application on a Unix platform to emulate a
- PC program that runs on top of CrossTalk. Instead of serial line, I'm
- using a TCP/IP connection (particularly telnet). I've been able to
- emulate all aspects of communication except the break key. The Cross-
- Talk documents just say send a 250ms break. Unfortunately, I don't
- know how to interpret that kind of signal into an IP packet. Any help
- is very much appreciated. Pointers to documentation is useful too.
-
- Please respond by e-mail, because I'm not a regular subscriber to this
- news group.
