Another major plus for Digicom Scouts is they guarantee the modem
for 5 years. Read that again, the *modem* is guaranteed for 5 years:
they don't just guarantee that the original purchaser won't have
trouble but the modem itself wherever it is. There is no guarantee
card to fill in to register your ownership: the date it was
originally sold is kept on file at Digicom so they know when to
start the 5 year period. There is no complicated "see your local
dealer" to go through: you can get service from Digicom. Thus there
are no international marketing lines drawn in the sand: you can get
service wherever you are.

And of course they work well.
