- On a different note, I am involved in the testing and decision process to
- procure approx. 1,000 - 1,200 modems.

- The modems must be able to handle v32bis or faster speeds and will be used
- in an distributed operations environment across the country.

- Besides getting in a selected number of modems to test on the poor rural
- phone lines across Canada, would anyone have any data on tests done on
- current modems, reliability etc? Any data of information would be useful,
- and appreciated in coming to a conclusion before January for purchase
- later in 1993.
