- Yup, it won't work, you blew $500.
- Seriously, the Hayes V-series modems were a half-duplex 9600 bps based
- on the V.32 standard that they called a 'ping-pong' V.32.
- You can only talk with it at 9600 using a Hayes V-series modem or a
- Hayes ULTRA modem which is V.32 or V.32bis (ULTRA-9600 or ULTRA 14400)
- and also supports the V-modulation scheme.
