  17. We purchased On-Line several months ago and its about time that
  18. we dusted it off our shelves.  No one here has gone to the Informix
  19. On-Line School so we're a little hesitant about installing it by
  20. ourselves (call us chicken, but it seems to me that there are a
  21. lot of problems associated with an incorrectly configured On-Line
  22. Engine.)

  24. We have been developing applications under 4GL RDS/SE engine with 
  25. the FourGen CASE tools for about two years now so we are familiar 
  26. with the Informix product but not the guts of the actual engine 
  27. or the bowels of Unix.

  29. We're currently looking for a consultant to come in and install 
  30. and configure an Informix 4.1 On-Line engine on our 486 Box running 
  31. SCO Unix 3.2.4 within the next few weeks.

  33. This person must have extensive experience working with Informix
  34. and optimizing Unix and the On-Line system.
