- Actually, I have a library cataloging application running in Foxpro 2.0 at my
- cooperative nursery school on an 8MHz 8088 (!). With a Seagate 251 (slow 40MB
- drive). It takes a while to start up (40 sec.) including reading a 150-element
- unique index into an array for a popup. But once loaded, it performs quite
- well. You can page up/down in a browse almost instantaneously. Reindex on
- about 500 records takes only 5 seconds or so. But I don't know how it will do
- on much bigger databases.
