  31. Files with the 64K byte limit are by no means the only kind of file that
  32. VMS supports, it's just that there are many, many applications for which
  33. this kind of file is very suitable.

  35. Maybe you'd like to rewrite RMS for Digital, and make it so much better?

  37. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying VMS is perfect, nor that the
  38. filesystem is the best of all possible worlds (in many ways it's kind of
  39. a pain, especially when you're _not_ dealing with simple text files),
  40. but let's not go off the deep end and compare it to a C-64.
