- Files with the 64K byte limit are by no means the only kind of file that
- VMS supports, it's just that there are many, many applications for which
- this kind of file is very suitable.

- filesystem is the best of all possible worlds (in many ways it's kind of
- a pain, especially when you're _not_ dealing with simple text files),
