- This view, i.e. accepting lossy compression, is accepted by the
- customers in the field of image and video compression. And what
- the customers accept is what's important, not what the salesman
- accept.

- lossiness they get, and how that compares to the compression ratio.
- They need to see lots of examples, not just a few, and they are
- generally rather experienced in subjectively evaluating compressed
- images and video.
