  14. We are implementing a compiler incorporating very aggressive analyses
  15. (interprocedural, alias, etc...) and optimizations.  One of our problem is
  16. the memory requirement to support such aggressive optimizations.

  18. We would like to know from others who have implemented compilers (not
  19. toys) their experiences regarding this problem. We would like to know
  20. statistics of memory allocated for compiling std. benchmarks (SPEC,
  21. SPLASH, PERFECT, RiCeps, etc ...) If you have such statistics, and if you
  22. can share it, please email me.  We are particularly interested from the
  23. groups working on optimizations and parallelizations to share their
  24. experiences...
