- In article 21162@col.hp.com, vanm@col.hp.com (Van Martin) writes:
- > Homosexuality is a physically destructive behavior.
- Not being homosexual, I guess I don't understand this sentence, perhaps you can
- explain it to me?
- >
- > CFV has no "Auschwitz" in mind for the homosexual community as
- >mis-guided Mr. Booker wanted to believe. Since he lived in Colorado
- >Springs, he never had special protection, nothing changed for him.
- >Unfortunately, depression is not much for logic.

- Again, the ammendment DID NOT remove special protection, it removed BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS.
-
- > What Amendment 2 states is that homosexual, bi-sexual or hetero-
- >sexual behavior is not a valid reason to demand government dollars be
- >allocated to pursue claims of discrimination.
-
- Again, the ammendment discusses sexual orientation, there is NO mention of sexual
- behavior. I think you people (CFV) need to understand what it is you are saying
- and what your beliefs are.
-
- > Homosexuals can still pursue wrongful-discharge suits, but their
- >behavior is not sufficient evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the
- >employer.
- Now, if an employer doesn't like an employee, they can fire them and claim it was
- because they were gay. This prevents pursuit of wrongful-discharge. Is is right
- for an employer to fire ANY employee because they don't like their "behavior" (to
- use YOUR word) outside of work. Maybe the employee bowls and the employer doesn't
- like that sort of behavior?!
-
- >Amendment 2 keeps Coloradoans on equal footing in the Civil
- >Rights arena. No special rights or considerations are appropriate for
- >a group whose BEHAVIOR sets them apart from the (vast) majority.
- >
- BEHAVIOR WAS NEVER MENTIONED IN THE AMMENDMENT!!!!!!!!
- does this mean that if a child BEHAVES in a manner in which you dislike, that you
- will support an ammendment the revokes the rights of "bad" children?!

- If you belive this, then you should let G-D handle Homosexuals rather than trying to
- do it yourself!
