  29. I hate buying cars, too-I am always
  30. afraid of what happened to you(and
  31. it HAS happened to me with a used
  32. car...)and I hate to buy new because
  33. of depreciation.  so what I've hit
  34. on is buying used rent-a-cars. The
  35. companies are reputable, the prices
  36. are right, and you get a decent 
  37. warranty.  We've been happy with
  38. ours for 2 yrs now, and it's the
  39. only way we'll ever go again...
  40. (try Enterprise-mostly insurance
  41. replacements, as opposed to Hertz,
  42. etc-airport visitors...)Also the 
  43. cars will have relatively lo miles
  44. (under 30,000)and have to have
  45. been maintained to some degree to
  46. avoid breakdowns/complaints...
  47.
