  23. Hmmm.  I have the opposite impression.  I moved to Austin from L.A.
  24. about 4 years ago and seem to remember being im[de]pressed by the number
  25. of cops on the road in Austin.

  27. This week, I'm doing some work up in Silicon Valley and I still haven't
  28. seen that many cops.  Even zipping down on Hwy 17 to Santa Cruz, I didn't
  29. see any.
