What about if you're a civilian who just has this interest in Military History and Tactics, esp. Modern (post WWII)?
AirLand Battle 2000, as I see it, is a rather good concept. Mobility and Maneuverability instead of Attrition. The problem is (and this is a problem with a lot of the US Strategy/Tactics), what happens if you can't win Air Superiority? Or (even worse), you can't even achieve Air Parity?
As well, haven't a lot of the deep strike/deep seek systems been canned by Congress because of the downfall of the Soviet Union?
