- I would never in any circumstance expect a man to be a mind reader. *I*
- personally would not call that sexual harrassment. Now, had I asked you to
- stop asking me how I was every morning and you didn't, then I would begin
- to get irritated. I still don't think I would call it "sexual" harrassment,
- unless I could prove that it was me and me alone you were confronting and
- it was *only* because I was a woman. I suppose then it could be called
- sexual harrassment. But like I said, I would never expect a man to read my
- mind and figure out on his own that behavior like that was irritating.
-
- However, more overt acts such as forcing a hug upon an unwilling participant
- is behavior that should always come with justification. If someone is
- hysterical and you need to grab hold of them in order to calm them down,
- that's one thing. But grabbing the proverbial secretary as she walks past
- you because you think she's a babe and you wanna quick feel.. well, you
- might think of it as a joke, but beware. Acts like that can cause some
- serious problems.
-
- I'm not saying that women have the right to deem anything and everything
- as sexual harrassment. But it is up to you men to THINK BEFORE YOU ACT.
- What might be considered a joke or "friendly" behavior might be viewed in
- an entirely different light by someone else.
