  12. It has been much more common in the past 12 years for conservatives to
  13. be shouted down by liberal "guarantors of the first amendment" than
  14. the reverse.

  16. I've heard various excuses for the practice, including "what they
  17. (the conservatives) are saying doesn't deserve to be said","so what
  18. if he/she is the scheduled speaker, they're not going to shut us up",
  19. "what they are saying is criminal", etc, etc, etc.

  21. Liberals have been the sponsors of restrictive restraints on speech
  22. at many universities.  Actions speak louder than words........
