- No, I'm not only using the line for a direct-connect modem. Both of these
- make the phone useless to me, otherwise I would not have gotten a phone for
- the line in the first place. All of these solutions make my phone hostage to
- the greedy marketeers out there that abide by the philosophy that it is
- easier to ask forgiveness than get permission.
