- The problem is that the husband knows many of the friends and relatives
- that are likely to receive the new number. He simply scans their bills
- until he figures out where she is and then looks up the address from the
- connection data that us mere mortals never get to see. It is difficult
- for an institition to protect your records from the prying eyes of those
- who work there.

- If he really is a threat then get a restraining order forbidding contact
- and have it include orders to the phone co. ordering them to prevent him
- from accessing any records in order to locate her. It puts them on notice
- that they will be sued if something bad happens.
