- It depends on just exactly what he does and who he knows at the phone
- company but this is not a good situation. Just having a phone in a
- fictious name will only help for a short period of time if her husband
- has unrestricted access to the bills. It's not at all difficult to check
- who all her friends/relatives call and check every one of those numbers.
- The name that would come back would not be hers but he could always call
- and see if she answers. Possibly getting an answering machine as well with
- someone else's voice on the tape would be of benefit.
