  21. and build cars too.  For one, there would be analog gauges again, just as
  22. God intended.  Idiot lights?  No, just a warning buzzer and perhaps a
  23. light directing your attention to the appropriate gauge.

  25.     There is nothing more annoying about a car, to me, than having
  26. only a speedometer and a gas gauge on the dash.  Dammit, I want a tach,
  27. oil temp, oil pressure, coolant temp, voltage, amperage, cylinder head
  28. temp, intake and exhaust manifold pressure if appropriate.  If this is
  29. just too much stuff for some and they're afraid they'll be confused,
  30. I contend that driving is too much for them.  These are the same people
  31. who have trouble tying their shoelaces in a strong breeze, and should
  32. not be allowed access to anything sharper than a twinkie.
