  18. As for your comment that you've not
  19. found any values which are gender
  20. specific, I'll conditionally agree
  21. with you: there are a minority of 
  22. men who have what I would term a 
  23. matriarchal conciousness (I like to
  24. hope that I'm one of them), just 
  25. as there are a minority of women who
  26. have a patriarchal conciousness.  But
  27. patriarchy socializes the bulk of males
  28. in the society into destructive
  29. attitudes and behaviors.
