- Umm...there are a number of folks practicing traditional tribal religions
- in Montana. They might be sympathetic if you can find them. Make it clear
- that you practice a different rite, though. A lot of traditional religion
- people are very nervous about non-members of their religion asking questions.

- You might want to check out the methods traditional religion people have
- used to foil the BIA. There are folks out there with generations of practice
- at ducking social services. If you can meet educated native folks who
- aren't on the Jesus path, some of them can be very helpful.

- A very good idea. The usual scam is to label it abuse and terminate your
- parental rights. Hurting kids is not too likely; but having the government
- steal them is a real possibility. The term 'diety' is safer than great
- spirit, too. (Great Spirit has negative connotations to a lot of traditional
- religion people sense it was a term foisted on them/us by Christian missiona-
- ries as part of their cannibal death cult.)
