- I *have* observed women in positions of power. I have observed a percentage of
- those women excercise that power responsibly, I have observed a percentage of
- women abuse that power. This abuse has included, in most extreme cases, child
- abuse (sexual, physical, emotional) and rape, those supposed bastions of
- patriarchy. Based on this observation, I can reasonably conclude that if women
- get the same power that men have had in patriarchy, they will abuse it in the
- same ways.

- Here we disagree. I am not willing to live in any type of "archy" setup. I
- happened to be born into a patriarchy, so I work to end it. I will work
- against a matriarchy in the same way.
