  30. There's a larger hand held unit that fires needle pointed electrodes attached
  31. to wires into your assailant from a distance (I hesitate to use the words
  32. "safe distance" since the safe distance from trouble is where it isn't
  33. happening). This unit also acts as a flashlight.

  35. As for the relative merits of it vs. a handgun, I've never heard of any
  36. incidents where someone's heart couldn't take the shock and the person died,
  37. but we are talking about electricity here. Maybe someone else knows more
  38. about these things.
