- I own a handgun as a defensive weapon. So far I have successfully
- defended my home and posessions with knives and a baseball bat, but I know that
- these weapons are almost useless against someone with a firearm. The reason
- guns where invented does not matter to me. This one feels creepy because it
- specificly was designed to kill human beings. Knives can be used for many
- things. So can rockets. A small, concealable handgun is used to shoot people.
- You can't carve a piece of wood with it, you can't send a satellite into orbit
- with it. You can shoot someone though. And I don't want to do that, but in the
- world we live in, I may have to someday. That's why I own it. And yes, I am
- getting training on how to use it. Thanks for the advice.
