- actually, I don't object so much to people believing anything
- they want, though in fact 'believing' anything is sort of
- losing. what I object to is people saying it publicly:

- 'oh yes, I myself was ramses III in a previous life'

- 'oh really? I was eleanor of aquitaine'

- 'oh wow, I was sir silliness of londinium, I just remembered'

- whether these things are true or not, they are unproveable,
- and thus on a par with claims of nonordinary abilities
- (clairvoyance, psychokinesis, etc).

- believe what you want; publicly announce things like this
- where I can hear or read them and you will be asked to
- provide some evidence.
