  18.         I am certain there at one time must have been a person who used
  19. magic solely in an altruistic manner, but I think that such a person
  20. is rare indeed.  I would be the first to admit that I am not even grey,
  21. there are very clear veins of black and white in me, like two distinct
  22. personalities.  Self interest will always be a factor, I think, because
  23. rare indeed is the person who would cause himself harm in the name of
  24. greater good, and I can only think of some very few situations where I
  25. might even consider such actions.
  26.         I do not know where you might find the information you seek...
  27. You may want to try some of the obscure historical writings from the
  28. 10th and 11th centuries.  Do you know where I might find a Rowan or
  29. Cauldron?  How about a decent sword?  These things are hard to come by
  30. here...
