  40.     It might interest you to know that I'm researching AI in
  41. training technology, both for the USAF and for use in US public school
  42. system.  In fact, one of our major efforts is the use of computer based
  43. training to help teach fundamental skills of reading, writing, and
  44. science, utilizing AI to model the students and adapt the teaching
  45. techniques.  Personally, I don't know anyone else doing much similar to
  46. our work here.  I'd say that's leading research effort into useful uses
  47. for technology going exactly where it's meant to.  Still want to be
  48. sarcastic?
