  17. I have been told by my grandfather in a bar somewhere that the
  18. Ford type F fluid is thicker than the Dexron.  The Dexron can be
  19. used in older Ford trans to give crisper shifting.  I don't know
  20. the consequences of using the wrong fluid (clutch damage, etc).

  22. Of course, knowledge of this sort is unreliable...your mileage
  23. may vary...taxes, title, dealer prep...
