  13. I suppose this is a proper group for this :-) ...

  15. I want to print out a file containing raw PostScript code from
  16. a Macintosh connected to a PostScript laser. I don't know the
  17. system very well since I don't have a Mac at home, so perhaps
  18. someone out here could advise me how to access the printer
  19. directly? (The OS is an old System 6.xxx.)

  21. (I get soooo frustrated with these macs when I can't just do a
  22. `cat file.ps > /dev/lp1'...)

  24. In desperation, I tried simply to read the file into MacWrite
  25. and Print it, but of course this resulted in the actual PostScript
  26. code being printed out instead of the contents...
