- Maybe someone else can verify or deny this, but I think that DCI's official
- stand is that if for some reason there is a tie between two or more corps
- at finals, the tie stands. No runoff. I personally feel that this is an
- absolutely moronic position, but I guess they must have their reasons.

- I remember when Phantom and Madison tied at DCM in 1982, and they ran it off.
