  16. Maybe someone else can verify or deny this, but I think that DCI's official
  17. stand is that if for some reason there is a tie between two or more corps
  18. at finals, the tie stands. No runoff. I personally feel that this is an 
  19. absolutely moronic position, but I guess they must have their reasons.

  21. I remember when Phantom and Madison tied at DCM in 1982, and they ran it off.
  22. That was one of the most exciting nights that I can remember in drum corps.
