  21. The two that come to mind are Scott Taylor (who marched center snare in
  22. 1979 and 1980) and Craig Linton (who marched Troopers in 1979 and end
  23. snare in PR in 1980.)  Both of them worked our butts off in 1981 and
  24. 1982.

  28. What's funny is that, being from the Midwest, I had a deep respect for
  29. PR until I was in a corps that was really competitive with them.  Then a
  30. lot of the things that I had heard people from Madison say really hit
  31. home.

  33. I really felt for PR in 1985, they seemed to have so *many* problems
  34. that summer.

  40. I have a lot of really fond memories of this corps, they were really a
  41. nice bunch of people.  Is one of these years the Christmas show (they
  42. played Silent Night as a closer.)

  46. What section(s)?  Maybe I can find you on the PBS broadcasts.  One of my
  47. favorite all-time snare licks if from the 1983 1812 production.  The
  48. only part I'm fairly sure about was a flamaque followed by a lazy seven.

  56. We may have met at one of the Texas shows, we got through with run
  57. throughs early and got to go down and watch BD rehearse.  (They returned
  58. the favor the next day.)  I met several of their snares.  (It was funny
  59. because my jacket said flugelhorn but I was talking about some pretty
  60. absurd rudiments.)
