  32. I don't necessarily think this is a sign of your possible mixed feelings
  33. about your mother, like some of the other posters have indicated.
  34. I have dreams all the time about people who look like my parents, but
  35. who really are evil beings who want to hurt me.  What I think is that
  36. your mind (or my mind, whoseever (?) mind) is like a really good
  37. writer, and knows that we will trust these people, just because they
  38. look like our parents.  Then, when we are relaxed and trusting,
  39. they will attack us or make their evil intentions known, thus making
  40. us even more frightened.  For example, once in a dream I was running
  41. around this haunted house, filled with really stereotypical monsters
  42. (Dracula, werewolves, tigers, etc.), when I saw my mother.  I ran to
  43. her for protection, and she suddenly grinned evilly, and I knew it
  44. wasn't my mother.  In another dream, this non-Mom showed up again,
  45. and tried to convince me that she was my mother and that I should
  46. do what she said.  It didn't work.
  47. Anyway, maybe your unconscious mind is doing something like that.
