  11. Someone mentioned dreaming about drowning...

  13. I had a dream when I was young that I had dived into a swimming pool.
  14. I swam down near the bottom of the pool and then realized I couldn't
  15. make it back up to the surface.  When I awoke, I was "swimming" on my
  16. stomach, holding my breath.  Very odd letting my breath out and
  17. realizing it was a dream.

  19. More recently, I was swimming in a dream, and there was a woman's
  20. olympic race going on, but I and a few others were playing in the pool
  21. and we disrupted the race.  I was swimming underwater with my eyes
  22. open (something I don't normally do) and I actually thought in the
  23. dream how much it was like flying in a dream!  (I hate when I ALMOST
  24. go lucid!)

  26. I used to have a fear of water (still do of natural water), but got
  27. over part of my fear by swimming in a pool with goggles and realizing
  28. how much it was like flying in a dream.  It gave me the same sense of
  29. power a dream of flying gives me.  Fun.
