- I have found that I become mildly depressed if
- I get "too much" sleep. For me, "too much" seems to be anything
- over an average of seven hours per night. If I get into a
- cycle of sleeping eight or more hours per night, then I
- find that all I want to do is sleep.
-
- Whereas if I get into the habit of staying up until ~1:00 AM
- every night (and getting up at 7:00 AM), I feel much better.
-
- So, my optimum amount of sleep seems to be six hours.
- This seems contrary to "conventional wisdom". Is anyone
- else like this ?
