  23.    Many people believe that synchronicity is what makes these mantic
  24.    arts work. Synchronicity (meaningful coincidence) is more or less
  25.    when two seemingly unrelated (coincidental) events happen to share a
  26.    common thread. The cards represent, in symbolic form, the many
  27.    processes or experiences inherent in the human psyche, collectively
  28.    speaking. When you pick out a card from the deck, whichever card you
  29.    pick out symbolizes the relevant process. Whatever happens in a
  30.    moment of time shares the qualities of that moment. This is why it
  31.    helps to ritualize the process of giving a reading, it helps connect
  32.    the unconscious to receive information.
