- Sometimes it's easier to believe in malevolent or benevolent powers
- beyond the everyday and banal than to accept random events.
- Wht *I* can't understand is the electronic money that floats around.
- Some 80% of it *never* exists except on a computer screen. The more
- computers in the international money markets, the more "unreal" money
- floating aboutand doing wierd things to economies. Anybody read Tom
- Holt, Flying Dutch? In this wonderful book, *all* the money in the
- world is owed to one man, who doesn't know about it and the money
- markests are controlled by computers that use music as programs and
- are controlled by the play-list on Radio 3, our classical music and
- cricket channel!
- Put enough fallible, real-world things together and you may get
- enough co-incidences to make it look like planning.
- Or maybe that's just what we want you to think ;-)

- BTW - I know I said I was away for a week. I found an extra-long
- piece of string to link my PC back into the setup I use
- Can't get rid of me that easily ;-)
