- I liked the area around Crescent City and Klamath. My (ex-)boyfriend
- and I spent some time in those areas, admiring the majesty of the
- Redwood trees and just the general peacefulness of the area. It
- made me feel that if I ever were to settle down in California, it
- would be in that general area. It seems so much nicer than Southern
- California (where I'm from)

- The youth hostel in Klamath was a great place, too. Overlooking
- the beach ... even when you eat dinner in the dining hall, you
- can see a nice sunset.
