- The problem here appears to be that Burdorf uses "fascist" as a general-purpose
- pejorative. He is, indeed, apparently ignorant, of the actual definition of
- the word, if nothing else:
- Fascism: a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts
- nation and often race aboce the individual and that stands
- for a centralized autocratic government headed by a
- dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation,
- and forcible suppression of opposition.
- Now, I don't recall seeing any attempts as severe economic regimentation under
- Bush, and the social regimentation he favored struck me as being far short of
- that of a fascist government.
