  28. The problem here appears to be that Burdorf uses "fascist" as a general-purpose
  29. pejorative.  He is, indeed, apparently ignorant, of the actual definition of
  30. the word, if nothing else:
  31.     Fascism:  a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts
  32.           nation and often race aboce the individual and that stands
  33.           for a centralized autocratic government headed by a
  34.           dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation,
  35.           and forcible suppression of opposition.
  36. Now, I don't recall seeing any attempts as severe economic regimentation under
  37. Bush, and the social regimentation he favored struck me as being far short of
  38. that of a fascist government.
