  24. All these keystrokes about gays are really making me angry.  If you want a one
  25. word  word for prejudice it would be  "intolerance".  The western culture is
  26. the only culture that has never made room for people who choose to live their
  27. lives differently.  That goes for gays, gurus, hermits, women, children,
  28. Indians, blacks, and just about anything else that narrow minded, uneducated
  29. people can hate.  And you don't have to lack a college degree to be uneducated.
  30. If you're perceived with any differences at all, this society will make
  31. you an outcast.  Yes, it's very bad in the middle school years as far as peer
  32. pressure.  But who let's it happen?  If we want our children and grandchildren
  33. to grow up in a better world, we'd better start paying attention to what values 
  34. we're teaching them now.  The other question I have is:  What ever happened to 
  35. personal freedom?  Was this country founded because the pilgrims were being
  36. presecuted for their choice of a different alternative?  A different way of
  37. looking at their God?
