  4. READ THIS FILE COMPLETELY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE THIS PRODUCT !

  6. You must run QUICK SETUP from the Main Menu and select an appropriate
  7. monitor type, prior to installing the Word for DOS Display Driver.

  11. 1.0     Installation Notes for Word 5.x & 6.0
  12.  
  13. 1) Make sure that Word has already been installed on your hard drive.
  14.  
  15. 2) To complete the install successfully, you will require the following
  16.    information:
  17.  
  18.    a) The full path name of the Word for DOS directory.
  19.  
  20. 3) From the Install Enhanced Drivers menu select MICROSOFT WORD.  
  21.  
  22. 4) Select Word 5.x or Word 6.0 from the menu, then select the desired 
  23.    resolution.
  24.  
  25. 5) When INSTALL reports that the driver has been successfully installed, 
  26.    exit the program.
  27.  
  28. 6) Change to your Word directory and start Word.
  29.  
  30. 7) Word's print preview function will automatically use the highest 
  31.    resolution installed. 
  32.  
  33. 8) For further details please see README.WRD, after installing the driver.

  35. Note: If the high resolution page preview mode is not available, (i.e.
  36.       the graphics card has not been configured to support high resolutions)
  37.       the VGA 640x480 16 color mode will be used.
